MARKET PROGRAMS

Welcome to Rabbit Valley Farmers Market! Supporting local farmers, businesses, and community is our top priority. We formed our 501(c)(3) organization in 2020 to revitalize the area following the effects of COVID-19. Our producer-only market is located in Downtown Ringgold and features sustainable farming practices and local artists. Join us in supporting the community and buying local!

Youth Vendors

At Rabbit Valley Farmers Market, we always encourage youth to learn about farming and sustainable practices as well as encourage them to share their produce and products with the community.  Each August we feature a Youth Vendors Day at the Market, and it has become a very popular event.  Encourage the youth in our community by supporting them at the Market!

Youth Scholarship

At Rabbit Valley Farmers Market, we are committed to supporting the future of the horticulture and environmental science industry. Our Foundation Scholarship, offered through GNTC, is a testament to that commitment. If you're enrolled in the horticulture program and seeking to build a career in greenhouse management, landscaping, flower arrangement, or environmental science, we encourage you to apply for this fantastic scholarship opportunity today.

Double SNAP EBT

We accept SNAP/EBT! The Market participates in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP). As part of the Market’s mission to provide our community with opportunities to purchase and learn about local foods, we have implemented a Double SNAP Program through a grant provided by Wholesome Wave Georgia.  See the market info booth for more info and to obtain your SNAP Tokens.

Fresh Vegetables
Nourish North GA

In an effort to create a food system that promotes healthy food and sustainable farming, Rabbit Valley Farmers Market has created a new program, Nourish North Georgia. Grants will provide resources, educational programs, and sustainable modes of food distribution for farmers, producers, food banks, and consumers. We have received a grant through Operation Round Up, made possible through the generosity of North Georgia EMC and the Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia. The program will provide meat and vegetables to local food banks.

Local Growers

Our Farmers Market is home to a community of passionate Local Growers who are dedicated to bringing the freshest produce to our customers. We believe that the best way to ensure the quality and sustainability of our food is to know where it comes from. Our growers are always happy to answer questions and share information about their farming practices. Come meet your farmers and taste the difference that local can make.

Local Musicians
at the Market

Rabbit Valley Farmers Market organizes special events that are free for the community to show support for local artists, musicians, and businesses. Every season opens with a special Wine and Arts in Ringgold, and the season closes with Oktoberfest, both favorites in the community.  Each week we also feature local musicians and artists to perform on our stage at the market. See what is happening at the market this week!
